Prayer at Sanctuary Functional Medicine

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain….” Psalm 127:1a.

Welcome!  Here at Sanctuary Functional Medicine we strive to serve God and our neighbor with the best we have to offer. Both of these tasks begin with prayer to our heavenly Father who answers generously.  Besides starting each day of work with prayer, we have long wanted to expand the prayer aspect of our ministry.   In seeking to provide a measure of community and support for those involved with the clinic, we are beginning a monthly prayer focus. This page and the activities it lists, highlight our efforts, opening opportunities for you to participate in this work.  In coming together as a community in prayer, we will see how our God will choose to build eternal hope, healing, and joy in the lives of those who seek Him.  Unless the Lord builds the community, unless the Lord brings healing and hope, we ultimately labor in vain in our endeavors.

Come back each week to read the current week’s prayer list and each month to learn the next area of prayer.  All are also welcome to request to join our private Facebook Group where prayers are posted and you can leave your own requests and praises.

Most importantly, join us as we pray these prayers daily, weekly, monthly.  To God be the glory!

March Prayer Focus: Adoption

CLICK HERE for the list of weekly prayer requests

For the month of March, we will be focusing our prayers on adoption.  The process of adoption can be overwhelming -on both sides.  We will be praying for those hoping to adopt, trying to adopt, in the process of adopting, and recently adopted.  We will also be praying for those considering adoption for their child, those in the midst of the process, and those who are navigating life following doing so.

Many already know Dr. Potters story and how his biological mother put him up for adoption.  If she had not done so, none of us would be blessed by the knowledge and care that Dr. Potter gives us today.

On the other side, Dr. Potter and his wife have also adopted children.  They have experienced the process and understand its many ups and downs themselves.

Join us as pray for all of those considering or impacted by adoption….
