These Terms of Service apply to your use of sanctuaryfunctionalmedicine.com, landing.sanctuaryfunctionalmedicine.com, and the Sanctuary SMS program described below. The website and SMS program are provided by Sanctuary Functional Medicine. In these terms, Sanctuary, we, us, and our refer to that practice.
By using our website, you agree to the website terms below. Joining our SMS program requires a separate, voluntary opt-in. Using the website, submitting a phone number, or accepting these terms does not by itself enroll you in marketing texts.
Website use
Use our website lawfully and provide accurate information when you contact us. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website operation, submit malicious software, impersonate another person, or use our forms to send unlawful or abusive content.
Website information describes our practice, services, and educational resources. It does not replace individualized medical care. Separate patient enrollment, service, payment, or course agreements apply when you enter into those services. These website and SMS terms do not replace those agreements or our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
Website content and external services
Website materials belong to Sanctuary or their respective owners. You may view them for personal use. Commercial reuse or republication requires permission from the relevant rights holder unless applicable law permits the use.
Our website may link to third-party websites, scheduling tools, payment services, or educational platforms. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their independent content or operation.
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but information can change and technical interruptions can occur. Contact us to confirm current service details. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Sanctuary Functional Medicine SMS program
Our SMS program allows you to choose text communications from Sanctuary. Depending on the consent you provide, messages may include responses and follow-up about an inquiry, help with scheduling or enrollment, appointment and enrollment reminders, or marketing and educational messages about Sanctuary’s services, programs, and events.
We send messages consistent with the categories you select. Marketing permission is separate from permission for non-marketing messages. Some messages may be sent using automated technology.
How you join
You may join through a Sanctuary form that clearly describes the SMS messages and asks you to make an affirmative consent choice. Select only the messaging categories you want, provide a mobile number you are authorized to use, and submit the form.
SMS consent is optional. You can submit an inquiry or obtain services without agreeing to marketing texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase or receiving care. Providing contact information for email or telephone communication does not by itself authorize recurring marketing texts.
If a form requires a confirmation reply, complete that confirmation before expecting messages from that subscription.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on the messaging categories you choose, appointments or requests associated with those categories, and your interactions with us.
Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless provider determines charges under your plan, including any charges for messages sent to or received from us. Contact your wireless provider if you have questions about those charges.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to a Sanctuary text to unsubscribe from our SMS messaging. We may send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, we will not send further texts unless you opt in again.

Unsubscribing from SMS does not cancel an appointment, end a patient relationship, or cancel a service agreement. If you also want to change your email or telephone preferences, tell us which communications you want to change.

If you want to receive texts again after opting out, complete a new Sanctuary SMS opt-in using the available signup process. We will not treat an unrelated inquiry as renewed consent to marketing texts.
Delivery and your phone number
Text delivery depends on wireless networks, device availability, and other factors outside our control. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
If your mobile number changes or you stop using it, please update your contact information with us. Only provide a number you own or are authorized to use.
For clinical records and patient-care questions, use the patient portal or the communication methods provided by your care team.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how website and messaging information is handled, including the protections for mobile information and SMS consent. Our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices separately addresses protected health information.
Joining the SMS program does not authorize another business to send you its own marketing messages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the website or messaging program changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. A change to these terms does not replace any new consent required for a different type of messaging.
