What Do We Treat in the Intensive Program?

Mold Toxicity

Uncovering mold toxicity means not only an explanation but with a Sanctuary detoxifcation protocol, this answer can also lead to feeling alive again with joy rather than suffering. Learn more

LYME & Tick-Borne Infections

Sometimes Lyme disease is the hidden cause of a patient’s chronic symptoms. As inflammation settles and the infection resolves, the body can begin functioning normally again. Learn more

Autoimmune Conditions

As triggers calm and the body is supported, inflammation drops, energy improves, and symptoms fade. Patients regain function and confidence knowing the real causes are being treated. Learn more

PANS and PANDAS

Everything changed over a short period, maybe a night, maybe over a week, but your child morphed into another personality. Your child’s health can be restored to a life of childhood joys unhindered by brain inflammation and unpredictable behaviors. Learn more

Fatigue

Many come to us with bodies that just don’t want to get up and go…. With our care… They get more done at home or at work. They have more energy to have fun. Patients often express “so this is what it feels like to feel normal” or “I didn’t know how sick I really was until I felt better”. Learn more

Autism and ADHD

As a parent, you know something changed about your child, something that you may not be able to pinpoint exactly, but you just know is there… By working to remove the triggers for brain inflammation and augmenting the body’s ability to heal, new changes emerge…. Your child can see a better future ahead interacting, learning, and playing. Learn more

Immune Dysfunction, COVID, and Inflammation

Our life depends on the proper function of our immune defenses. Besides the elsewhere described processes of autoimmune disease or mast cell activation, our immune system can either simply underperform or inadequately shut itself off. We’ll come back to the inadequate shut off after looking at how it can underperform.  Learn more

Mast Cell Activation Syndrome

Mast cells are immune cells which release histamine and dozens other chemical messengers in response to some trigger. The histamine and other chemicals serve a purpose under normal conditions, but when they build up in excess, they can cause hives, allergies, food intolerances, migraines, GI symptoms, and many other surprising symptoms. Learn more

Thyroid and Hormone Imbalances

Hormones, whether from the thyroid in your neck, the reproductive hormones in men and women, or the little adrenal caps sitting on your kidneys can all individually or collectively disrupt your life.  We work to balance those out of alignment by identifying root causes driving the problems and supporting these critical body regulators.  Learn more

How Do I Choose the Best Program for Me?
Finding the right care depends on your health needs, your goals, and how much support you want along the way. Whether you’re facing complex symptoms, seeking a structured healing plan, wanting to optimize wellness, or needing ongoing primary care, we offer programs to guide you at every stage.  Our Enrollment Team will guide you through the decision making process.

Do you want Symptoms Resolved or Life Restored?

Both!   Yes, this is a trick question of sorts. You want both, but they come as a package, so we apply the art and science of medicine upon the care of the individual to help you live again.

If you are reading this, you or someone you love is struggling with symptoms that tell you something is broken, off-track, imbalanced in your body. Those symptoms impact your ability to function in the simple activities of daily life, sometimes in even finding joy in life. We say that our patients’ broken bodies lead to broken lives.

You want to be able to forget about the fatigue, the pain, the fear of eating, the dizziness or whatever symptom led you to our page. You want more of the productivity, the creativity, the small joys of life, the big joys sharing life with others that you hopefully once had.

That is what we want for you as well, and thus we designed the Intensive Program 3.0 to deliver that combined freedom from symptoms and restoration of life’s fullness. Over years of constant listening to patients and building on prior successes, we recognize what our patients need and strive to deliver it in this process, through the art and science of caring for whole persons.

Why Is ADHD So Hard to Treat?

With somewhere between 1 in 15 and 1 in 30 children now having an ADHD diagnosis, we would hope that better therapies would be available to prevent the disruption in achievement, well-being, and relationships. This review of the state of ADHD genetics answers some of those ‘Why?’ questions, the question which explain our current approach…

Diet, Oxalates, & Change in the IBD Debate

A preliminary vote just got cast in the debate between functional medicine’s dietary emphasis in treating IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and conventional GI doctors who dismiss the diet’s role, and it was cast for functional medicine’s side. Further, for those who hate spinach, the good news just keeps getting better: the oxalates it contains may…
