I am so grateful for the care I have been receiving, for a complicated case of extreme sensitivities, mold exposure, and a whole host of other things. Emma W’s Story

I will never be able to repay Sanctuary for what they have done for my daughter. When we first came to them last September, we didn’t even realize just how exhausted we were or how much our little girl had been struggling.

My daughter unknowingly had PANS. She was dealing with tics, disrupted sleep, social decline, speech regression, “brain on fire” episodes, severe separation anxiety, OCD, and so much more. Sanctuary took the time to run extensive testing and helped us understand what was going on inside her little body and what could be contributing to all of these struggles.

Next month will mark one year since we started this journey, and I am so incredibly happy to say that our girl is thriving. She talks to us, looks us in the eyes, plays with her little sister, and is genuinely happy. Her separation anxiety is gone, her temper has dramatically improved, her tics are WAY down, she sleeps through the night, and she wakes up happy. She is, in so many ways, a completely different child.

And the best part is that I feel like we’re only getting started. I cannot wait to see what this next year of healing brings her.

We will be forever grateful to Sanctuary for the care they have given our family and for helping change the course of our 5-year-old daughter’s life.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Potter for eight years. She is on the autism spectrum diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. She has multiple issues dealing with imbalances of catecholamines, mutations of MTHFR and other polymorphisms, hormonal imbalances, weight and mood issues.

Over the years she has gotten calmer and can engage better socially. She can even drive a car now. This progress is due to Dr. Potter’s knowledge of biochemistry and learning how to balance the imbalances of our genetics. He understands how biochemical pathways get blocked and how to make them function more properly using natural supplements instead of drugs. The only prescription she is on is a thyroid medication and that’s natural too! She does take a lot of supplements but I consider it nutrient therapy and it’s really helping her. I have so much more hope for her future now and I owe it all to Dr. Potter’s great expertise, patience and kindness.

Finding Dr. Potter and his team at Sanctuary has been a literal Godsend! For 2 years prior, my daughter was very sick. Despite numerous medical appointments, including ER visits, no one could figure out the root of her symptoms, which included sudden OCD, intermittent and unexplained vomiting, skin issues and more. Sanctuary helped pinpoint the root cause (mold) and she quickly began to improve. Her sister has also begun treatment at Sanctuary because of some different mold-related symptoms that we could not address on our own. She also is seeing improvement in a short time.
