“One Dose of Conquering Peace”

Day 1 of “The 12 Days of a Sanctuary Functional Christmas”
“One Dose of Conquering Peace”

At Sanctuary Functional Medicine, our patients come to us seeking restoration. An important part of that restoring process includes finding relief from the chaos that chronic illness has brought into their lives. That chaos comes in many different forms. In some, it may be the apparent wear on the physical body. For others, the chaos remains hidden beneath the surface of someone’s life making every day functioning a few degrees more difficult than it needs to be. For others, the chaos of chronic illness has made its way throughout multiple areas of life. It has become so ubiquitous that it is difficult to define when or how it began. It just is.

Chronic illness lends itself to chaos because the disorder in the body’s functioning leaves the person, their family, and their friends weary from fighting an enemy who is often ill defined and therefore left to wreak havoc on daily, weekly, and finally monthly functioning. It just seems to take over.

We strive through prayer and functional care to help make the restoration of peace possible at every level- body, spirit, and even relational levels. On this Day One of “The 12 Days of a Sanctuary Functional Christmas,” we pray that peace would begin to settle upon the lives of all our patients touched by the chaotic arm of chronic illness. We pray for peace in the waiting and peace in the restoring, peace in the body, peace over weary spirits, and peace over strained relationships. May the Prince of Peace visit your life with His conquering presence this coming year – conquering the chaos of chronic disease and restoring the order of proper functioning in all areas of life.

Sanctuary Functional Medicine, under the direction of Dr Eric Potter, IFMCP MD, provides functional medicine services to Nashville, Middle Tennessee and beyond.
