Many of our patients have suffered for years from a variety of symptoms and diagnostic labels from other providers despite having a curable condition- just one ignored by conventional medicine. Thankfully, there are some news outlets which give suffering patients a voice after that curable condition is discovered and treated. These make for attractive news stories. Everyone wants to hear good news amidst the media’s habit of inundating us in bad news.
In this case, a teenage girl came down with a severe case of ulcerative colitis soon after COVID in 2020, but since mold toxicity was diagnosed and treatment begun, her recovery has been remarkable. This is no surprise in our clinic as we have seen many patients with some form of inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, etc.) due to mold toxicity. We have also seen COVID infection or vaccination as other factors which often serve as a secondary trigger for this autoimmune condition.
While the article tells a longer story, the punch line is that with removal of the mold from the family’s basement and proper detoxification therapies, Ava is recovering rapidly. We are thankful that she found a provider to take her seriously and one who recognizes the contribution of mold to ulcerative colitis. Helping patients restore healthier more abundant lives requires open mindedness and diligence so that people like Ava don’t have to continue suffering.
