Righteousness Leaves Physical Fruits
Swallow your supplements. Do your exercise. Eat this. Don’t eat that. Go to bed early and wake up refreshed. We seek long and fruitful life filled with joy and steadfastness.
None of these are wrong. Each of these have their time and place and role in life. Its just that there is more to life than the physical and biological we see and touch.
The foundations of the long and fruitful life begin with the fear of the Lord. The hope of the righteous then brings joy in that long life. This way in the Lord becomes a stronghold from which they cannot be removed.
So yes, care for your body with the wisdom that God has granted, yet, don’t ignore the soul whose care bears fruit in the present and the eternal.
